overdrive

Post by roro13200 » 05 Oct 2024, 08:17

Hello I need some information,
I currently own the xl2566K
according to rtings at 360hz the best overdrive parameter is premium, in VRR the best compromise always according to rtings is the custom value 8, because they estimate that this value behaves best over all the vrr range without having to modify the value each time,

now let's take the example where I play in VRR mode in a game capped at 60, the value given by rtings is always the best?? how can a monitor that doesn't have variable overdrive do this??

the same if I play VRR off in 360hz 60fps how can the premium value always be the best?? As far as I know their test is done on 360hz / 360FPS, I don't understand thank you for your answer!
