Do affordable 27" 1440p 144hz monitors exist?

Post by LegendFury » 27 Feb 2015, 00:01

I'm looking to buy a 27" 1440p TN 144hz monitor. The only one I was able to find was the absurdly expensive ROG Swift. Do any alternatives exist?

Acer and BenQ both have some QHD 144Hz monitors coming out. Acer is Gsync while BenQ is going with the Adaptive Sync route. No word on pricing yet, from what I can tell but I'm guessing that they will be more affordable than the Swift.

Not sure about affordable, but look at the ASUS MG279Q. Will be $600.

Except we'll likely have to wait until April for this one, just like the ACER.

This is basically one LONG test of patience... :?

Well I decided to get the Dell U2515H. It's really affordable for the specs. I'll just have to wait for 144hz 1440p to drop in price.
