Upgrading to a newer, strobe-backlight capable monitor (LightBoost, Turbo240, ULMB, etc) is a good idea with the GTX 780. There are several models with LightBoost, listed within List of 120Hz Monitors, including the VG278HE.
You may also additionally want to consider GSYNC monitor options, as they also include ULMB, which is like an improved LightBoost.

I I also thought about a GSYNC but it is too expensive in Dk, and is only available as 24 inches and is almost twice as expensive than the 27 inch. I would like to have a 27 inch but it is not available with GSYNC
But, if I upgrade. becomes BF4 improves because. it is a 120 hz I have now and run 120 fps in BF4
maybe there will come a G-SYNC Upgrade kit for VG278HE ??

27 inch GSYNC monitors are coming later this year.MaFIa wrote:I I also thought about a GSYNC but it is too expensive in Dk, and is only available as 24 inches and is almost twice as expensive than the 27 inch. I would like to have a 27 inch but it is not available with GSYNC
Just so you know, I have observed that BF4 has lots of difficulties running at 100+fps on a GTX Titan, so that specific game is an excellent GSYNC candidate.

If the 27 inch GSYNC monitors come later this year in denmark, then I would think it's going to cost around $1,500
The Asus 24" LED VG248QE Nvidia G-Sync cost in Denmark $906 so that it is very expensive
Thats why i go after asus vg278he its cost only $500 and then i will get 27 inch, and more fluid gaming experience right??
Do you know if there will be a GSYNC upgrade kit for ASUS VG278HE?

Personally, I do not think that GSYNC upgrades will arrive on the VG278HE.MaFIa wrote:Do you know if there will be a GSYNC upgrade kit for ASUS VG278HE?
Due to the Euro pricing situation, you might just want to get the VG278HE (I see it is just 379 Euro Amazon Gemany page with VG278HE). I do think probably GSYNC is less than 200-Euro premium within two years. Or could be a hell lot sooner, like later this year. It may take time, it's only a huge premium right now at launch. But the price-drop wait could become long. You could always sell your VG278HE and switch to GSYNC.
It's the old computer progress dilemma, "do I buy now or wait?".

Yep it is always a dilemma, but it is too expensive if you want to have the latestChief Blur Buster wrote:

I have chosen to buy the ASUS VG278HE and will receive it tomorrow.
Because I want to go up to a 27 inch and it has Lightboost newer panel, etc.
It costs only 375 euros and I can get a good price for my old monitor which has just been 2 years old
So in 2 years I can get a new GFX card and then go for ASUS ROG SWIFT PG278Q G-SYNC, then it will probably be down to a reasonable Price
Around BF4 and fps drop, I think there just needs a little more updates to the game with also new updated driver for gfx, then I think we will avoid the worst fps drop

Don't count on it being too much cheaper, maybe $75 or so. Really depends though, but that's my guess.
But do remember that upgrading your monitor to a G-Sync model will be seen as a much better visual improvement than if you were to purchase a new graphics card.
