LG 24GM77 vertical gradient(?)

Post by safian » 07 Oct 2015, 10:02

Hey guys!
Me and my friend bought the LG 24GM77-b monitors. We are experiencing rather annoying problem with the screen brightness being different on the top of the screen than on the bottom with gradient in between. The bottom of the screen is visibly brighter than the top. The difference is visible from almost all angles as seen in the pictures.

We didn't see anyone mention that in any reviews we've read or watched.

Do you have the same problem or did we get faulty screens? Should we send them back or stick with them?

Thanks in advance, have a nice day guys!

Perfectly normal. That's just TN gamma shift.

See those Asus ROG Swift pictures (green one especially is obvious).

Thank you very much, now I can sleep knowing that I didn't have to return it ;)
