BenQ XR3501 - Blur/Ghosting/Trailing Issues!

Post by BradleyW » 11 Oct 2015, 17:44

Hello,

I have blur/ghosting/trailing when dragging windows across the screen, however the blur/ghosting/trailing is "far more noticeable" at either end of the screen (where it is most curved). I also get the odd random white strip flash across the screen when I watch YouTube or ALT+TAB out of game. Does the screen have a fault?

AMA set to Premium.
Connected via DP 1.2.
R9 290X CCC 15.9.1.
Thank you.

http://testufo.com/#test=ghosting

does the ghosting change in this test when you change your AMA setting? if so your AMA it too high.

also could be because you have ULMB on, turn it off too see if it fixes the issue.

The screen does not have ULMB.
AMA makes no difference with the UFO test.

Can you post a video? if the AMA setting is doing nothing to change the 'ghosting' it could be something wrong with your monitor.

Sure,

Watch how the red leaves a trail when dragging the box around on the left hand side of the screen.
