Hello, BLURBUSTAZZ
I'm just a guy who wants a decent 144Hz screen(24-27").
And know what? I can't get it for a month already!
I moneybacked 6 monitors!
Why? Because all of them was defective one way or another.
1) BenQ XL2411Z - defective panel: http://imgur.com/xV9rIRG
2) PHILIPS 24" 2ms.. - defective stand, awful colors and contrast, PWM backlight.
3) BenQ XL2720Z - defective touch buttons (2 not working), back-light bleeding
4) iiyama GB2788HS-B1 - 2 stuck pixels + bad panel uniformity http://i.imgur.com/4qgoK5h.jpg http://i.imgur.com/mkCOmg5.jpg http://i.imgur.com/6TJFI98.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Ur4WStV.jpg
5) ASUS VG278HV - extreme colors distortion, PWM backlight http://imgur.com/a/nWQNx
6) 2nd iiyama GB2788HS-B1 - extreme colors distortion like with ASUS, and bad grayscales..
I'm DONE with it...
Help me please.. any advice.. I want a decent 144Hz screen.. why they are all so bad?
Is it possible to get a decent 144Hz screen? (QC?)

You got unlucky.
My XL2720Z works perfectly.
Crying about it isn't going to help you. Just play the lottery and try again.

So, I was mistaken when told iiyamas are the best.
In terms of quality they are like others.
THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF BAD MONITOR (COLORS UNIFORMITY):
THIS IS ACCEPTABLE/GOOD LEVEL (cheap ViewSonic VA2248-LED21.5” TN 60HZ):
THIS IS HOW IT MUST TO BE (PEFRECT/CLOSE TO PERFECT COLORS UNIFORMITY, LG 47” fullHD TV 47LV4500 100-200Hz):
Why the …. then this 144Hz monitors are SO BAD? Why my cheapest of the cheapest 21.5 TN ViewSonic is better in all terms?

Yeah yeah, then do this tests and give us some pics, I'll upload it later.Falkentyne wrote:You got unlucky.

I don't believe your monitor is perfect. It's impossible.

What tests?
I don't see any tests.
I can't do tests from your screenshots. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do?
I just see you raging and posting screenshots that are not even things other people can run. So..yeah. What tests?

Standard tests for uniformity of luminance(defect called clouding), backlight bleeding and color temperature uniformity.
This test that I made (alpha ver) for example: http://www110.zippyshare.com/v/p4pOwzUo/file.html
Take a pic of TEST YELLOW.png and TEST YELLOW FS.png (144Hz folder) at least. (just from ~0.5-1m, targeting in the center of the screen, better on camera, but phone is fine too)

Took these from about 10 feet away with the camera zoomed in.
its a cheap $120 camera so..don't expect quality.
I can't be closer because gamma shift is too high on a 27" TN.
Yes its not perfect but its gamma shift. If I'm eye level to the same point on the monitor then its similar shade.
You can't have a large TN screen look perfect.

One more example of decent screen:
Cheap TOSHIBA DL834R LED TV (Edge LED, like the LG 47 I mentioned before).
Everything is perfect in that Toshiba and LG47" TV.
Why "gaming" monitors are so crappy and low-quality then? 200 EUR, 1200 EUR price means nothing.

From what can I see here, you are really lucky getting this panel. Yes, it's not perfect but, If I got a similar panel, I would stick with it. But.. is it fair to pay for a lottery?
Anyway you must have a chance to try at least 5 monitors before choosing one, bu better even more than 5.

Beats me.
You're comparing TV's and gaming monitors also...
I can't answer this for you. All I do is play video games...
and remember I took this picture from *10 feet* away.
that's about 3 meters.
If I take it from 3 feet it looks bad like yours because of TN gamma shift. The camera lens is too small. It's a cheap HMX-F90 camera. And it's a 27" 1080p monitor also.
Yes I got quite lucky with it. No backlight bleed or bad pixels at all. And everyones getting horrible backlight bleed and panel lottery on the 1440p 144hz Gsync IPS monitors..
