BENQ XL2430T configuration for CS:GO

Post by cwirek91 » 05 Mar 2016, 05:20

Hello,
I just bought new monitor BENQ XL2430T released at October 2015 with firmware v006-20151103. I don’t know how I should set it. I read theme http://forums.blurbusters.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1848 but I don’t know why I need VT tweak, strobe, 120Hz, etc. I use dual link DVI connected currently to AMD 4850HD. I have settings 1920x1080 with 144 Hz on Windows. At this moment I downloaded Display Pilot and profile http://www.displaylag.com/icc-profiles/ ... 0Final.icm and I set it in Windows 7 Home Premium.

And I don’t know what’s I should do next. I found something like this:

But I don’t know are enough settings, and how could be colour vibrance at 0 when I have gray colours then.

I need settings and 2 or 3 profiles to CS:GO (800x600 stretched / 1024x768 stretched); to regular use (with low blue light etc.); to watching movies (maybe ‘regular use’ profile is enough for that?).

Thanks for help.

I think these pros must not give a fuck what the game looks like with these settings. They are probably seeing like dinosaurs where motion is all they are sensitive to.

ye, I have now:

- 'regular use' mode: Blur Reduction ON (Intensity: 10, Area: 10), Black eQualizer: 0, Color Vibrance: 10, Low Blue Light: 10, Instant Mode: ON, Auto Game Mode: OFF, Brightness: 100, Contrast: 50, Sharpness: 6, Gamma 3, Color Temperature: 93; 88; 97, AMA: High, Senseye Demo: OFF, 144Hz.
- CS:GO mode: Blur Reduction OFF, Black eQualizer: 0, Color Vibrance: 10, Low Blue Light: 0, Instant Mode: ON, Auto Game Mode: OFF, Brightness: 100, Contrast: 50, Sharpness: 5, Gamma 3, Color Temperature: 100; 100; 100, AMA: High, DynamicContrast: 0, Senseye Demo: OFF, 144Hz

For movies I use CS:GO mode.

Now it's not look bad, but probably are better configurations and I'm looking it. I'm newbie in monitor configurations.. I need best configuration to CS:GO.

That's a pretty reasonable configuration for cs:go.

Your CS:GO settings are fine.
