Massive Texture popping issues w/ Nvidia 1060 / ASUS VG248QE

Post by Toni » 03 Nov 2016, 18:43

Hey guys, I was recommended to come and ask here about this problem that I started having recently:

After reinstalling nvidia drivers on my new desktop and playing CSGO again, I noticed that ingame there was a LOT of texture popping, with building details changing depending on distances near them, and it was driving me insane. I have done almost everything that I knew or searched about, and the only thing I got was to minimize it a little bit by tweaking some nvidia control panel options:

Thanks for your attention if you decide helping, much appreciated.

Not sure but Multiframe Sampled AA (MFAA) needs to be OFF and Power management mode changed from "Optimal power" to Performance option.

looks like texture filtering issues?

if you hit restore does it fix the problem?

Do you have DSR on? make sure it's at native 1080p and see if there still is a issue.

I enabled DSR factors and tried around lvls of smoothness with the game at either native or 4k, still happened the same.

I don't understand what I'm looking at. Looks normal to me in that video :-/

You have to look closely at shadow lines of doors, it might be hard to spot in the video if you dont watch it closely but I can guarantee you that its really annoying.

I don't see any artifacts on your video btw. Do you see it on that 720p video? Make screenshots where we can see.
