Would be great if these were mass-produced, but I suspect the use cases for this are so few, that if this makes it out to market, it will come with an "extremely niche" price tag.

Can't wait for the results though.

In its basic DIY kit format, you'd be very surprised!
(Fancy preassembled will be more $$$ though)

Also, it's 4K 120Hz. Which is quite fine for desktop use.

High-Hz modes run in reduced-resolution.

Keep tuned.

Sadly my favorite high framerate game overwatch is limited to 300fps. Still if the final pixel response is good enough (Im assuming 2ms average or better) it would be a nice upgrade even from a 240hz. If it had gsync that would awesome as well but at a certain point you dont even need VRR technology.

No "official" VRR.

The panel technically (unofficially) supports FreeSync. I haven't tested.

But with their custom TCON circuit board needed for 480Hz, FreeSync may not work.

So this is from cirthix, right?

In Linus video, he says it's from zis.

Technically, this piece of information is still under embargo.
I will reveal in my article.

Yes, it is 4K 120 Hz.

The higher Hz modes (240Hz thru 480Hz) operate at lower-resolution.

Article coming very shortly -- keep tuned!

Let's cut the crap and get to the chase. When the hell could we buy one? Should I be concerned this isn't Asus, Acer, BenQ, etc? Better not be 480hz at 720 too.
