WolfWings wrote:...so it might be worth mentioning in the BlurBusters review that the 39" upgrade is specifically for the panel that was used in the Seiki 39" 4K's. :) Found it on the ZisWorks page that it is, but everywhere here there's no explanation of which '39" VA panel' it's intended for, and 39" panels in general are almost unheard of these days in the US.
It is not specifically for SE39UY04 (though I do include a wiring harness specifically to reuse the power supply). It is for the Innolux V390DK1-LS1. Probably most people who have this panel have it in an SE39UY04.

The panel is no longer being manufactured, being replaced by the almost identically specced 40" model (which will probably work but I haven't tested).

I'm improving the website, there has been a lot of confusion, sorry about that.

If you manage to plug the tcon into something other than the mentioned panels, you're likely to let the magic smoke out instead.

How hard is it to get it working without pre-assembly? As I don't live in China and have to pay lot of taxes, I could get the Samsung U28D590D + non Panel kit for less than the full Panel kit. I'm fine with soldering as long as it's not extremely small. :)

I believe he can mark the package and its contents as a commercial sample and you won't pay any taxes on it.

Installing the tcon is four screws and two flat-flex cables. After that, plug in the four lvds cables and screw in the housing. Add the vesa mount and thats it.

Hi cirthix :-)

big thx for your work!!! Can you reach higher HZ-Rates (more than 240) with a popular CS:GO streched custom resolution 1440 x 1080?
How is the Feeling to play cs go @ 39" can you compare the speed with a available 240 hz Monitor (like zowie or asus)? Or is it slower (from the Input?)
Do you offer a 39 "complete monitor? (All components assembled)
Of course against good payment :-)

BIG THX in advance!!!

The display will work with 3840*1080@240Hz, 3840*720@300Hz, and 3840*480@480Hz, but the pixels will be rectangular, not square.

I don't have too much time for games myself, but when I do, I use the 1080p240 mode for LoL. Don't have a brand-name 240Hz to compare with.

39" complete costs too much to ship (shipper quoted $525 to the US). If you are in China, 39" complete is doable at a reasonable cost.

Congratulations on becoming Forum Member #3000. :)

AFAIK, only the 28" is available in a complete package. Remember that 240Hz TN will have better motion clarity than 240Hz VA. You will have less input lag with TN than VA because of the faster pixel response. The easiest mode for 240Hz is 1920x1080.

For the fastest CS:GO option, this is the option that I would recommend -- the preassembled 28" TN display costing $655 + shipping.

#3000 woooww :-) i Love this page!!!
Chief thx for the recommendation :-) Monitor is preordered :D Is this Monitor @ 1920 x 1080@240 Hz faster than the Zowie 24" or Acer 27" 240 Hz? Is a NVIDIA custom resulution possible? 1440x1080? Or how sharp feels the imagequality @720p is it playable?
I want more than 240 hz nevermind how :-)))

BIG thx in advance
