Spritz - super fast reading [fun offtopic item]

Click the "click to spritz" button in the upper right to try it out. This is pretty cool, I can easily read using the 500 wpm setting.

I wonder what the maximum human readable limit is and if display technology can become a bottleneck.

Standard e-ink displays are too slow to benefit from this, although I have seen color e-ink displays fast enough (like the ones Mirasol developed).

Oh, I saw a link for that and thought it was an onion video or a joke. I'll have to try that demo next time I'm on the computer, as I don't see an option on the mobile site. Still, got tl read about it, cool stuff. Though I'm sure we might be more choosy about the displays we use it on. I wonder if they have their own internal research on that stuff.

"Spritz". Rather unfortunate name. Means "the act of cumming" in German.
