pg258Q vs PG279Q

Post by Lucifer » 30 Oct 2017, 18:31

hello
I'm interested in the Asus pg258q but I have a question
Does this monitor tire your eyes? Does it have a lot of brightness?
Is the IPS PG279Q better for the eyes?

sorry for my bad english

I find it doesn't get dark enough and i have to turn down the Brightness and the Contrast at night.

It also has a low blue-light mode which is nice if you want that.

Thanks for your opinion

Do you think the PG279Q panel is better for the eyes? My eyes are very sensitive. I'm very hesitant.

The PG279Q is a IPS panel, it will have better color accuracy and viewing angles. you can also lower the brightness to about half of the brightness of the PG258Q which will probably help you quite a bit. It also comes with the low blue light mode in the PG258Q.

Unless you REALLY want the 240hz the PG279Q is a great choice if you got the cash.
