I do not have any other (reference) monitor to compare.
Also make sure, that if you use Nvidia GPU and clone your displays, one of them is set as primary and second is a clone. Primary will have less input lag, even if you setup completely the same monitors. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6OMrhimw-Q

Today I got my monitor, I use to expand the screens (should be in this mode there should not be problems with the delay of the secondary display). I use a video on a YouTube with a timer, and I move the browser window in the middle of the displays, and I change the priority of the displays. I got an interesting result, the difference between the input lag between TV and LG is high, but there is no difference between my old display with 4 ms lag

Re: LG 27GK750F-B - 240Hz, 27" 1ms Blur reduction, Freesync
Why are you sure that your old display has low input lag as only 4ms?
Re: LG 27GK750F-B - 240Hz, 27" 1ms Blur reduction, Freesync
from the site information https://overclockers.ru , I read the reviews of the monitors, iiyama x2377hds and benq xl2411t, according to the site, both monitors are the fastest ones (for input lag only) at that time , I do not feel the delay of the image, but maybe I'll notice the difference when I try another 240Hz monitor. I'm not a gamer, but I've used a CRT monitor for 14 years - it's a very sharp image in motion and a low input lag, and on an ordinary 60 Hz LCD monitor, a terrible blur even in the interface of windows, browser, etc. 240Hz and strobing is the salvation of my eyes, I have an old CRT monitor at work, I'll try to use it in the input delay test as a referencek2viper wrote:Why are you sure that your old display has low input lag as only 4ms?
Re: LG 27GK750F-B - 240Hz, 27" 1ms Blur reduction, Freesync
Mate XAKE found an interesting thing: LG results in lowest input lag (suddenly) not in 1:1 or default "full wide" mode, lowest lag mode is "Original" mode. I know that is kinda strange and have to be checked twice. By the way, TFTCentral tested only Full wide and 1:1 aspect modes on their LG.
So if that results will be confirmed, it may be not that laggy monitor at all
Reference monitor on the left is IPS 24" 60hz so it has a sufficient delay against LG on the right. As you may see (and its repeatedly resulting), in Original mode (in Russlan "Исходный") LG actually decreases its delay for around one 60hz frame.

Subjectively I also feel an input lag decrease ingame!
Never tried that Original mode tbh. And what a finding...
Perhaps this monitor should not be considered as having somewhat "high" input lag anymore. Just roll on Original scaling mode and you're fine.
Owners, please try it and post your experience here.

The one that came before CS:GO ("Global Offensive") one.
Some people today don't even know that CounterStrike exists -- that original CounterStrike game was released before some younger CS:GO players today were born! 2000 vs 2018 is a full generation apart...
Man, the olden days.
I had a 3Dfx Voodoo2 SLI around then. The GTX Titan of the era. Having an ADSL connection in 1997 meant I was called a LPB ("Low Ping Bastard") in GLQuake.
thats the Legend, the best FPS Lan game ever in my Country

Service menu of LG 27GK750F-B
How to enter service menu: viewtopic.php?p=34329#p34329
There's also a submenu called Tool option 1.
I havent tried changing anything yet.

Checked by XAKE with a refined methodic, decent 2-4ms input lag decrease in Original mode vs both 1:1 and Full wide modes - confirmed. For both non-strobed and strobed 240hz operation. Limited by equipment, he barely can measure this more accurate. Anyway, its free for all owners, so its definitely a good news.
There's also an observation from me, LG shows way more stability in Original mode (no black screens at VT 1304 so far).
So, Original mode actually renders to be "true direct" mode, or it somehow activates hidden "Dynamic action sync" which is not available in OSD nor service menu.
Switch to original scaling mode and share your experience please.

So let me get this straight: when using 1080p, which should just always use the same path through the scaler since it's the native res, doesn't use the same path and is tied to the scaling option selected in the OSD?
That's just not right. Somebody screwed up at LG :-/
