To destutter/dejitter your strobed mode and remove all those double image crosstalk:
1. Try hertzroom below to reduce strobe crosstalk. 144Hz strobed on 240Hz strobed has less crosstalk than 240Hz.
2. Try matching framerate=refreshrate using VSYNC ON. (There are low-lag equivalents of VSYNC ON, but test VSYNC ON for now until you've dejittered your strobe mode -- then start tweaking to lower latency)
3. Make sure that your refresh rate is set to the valley of your framerate range. If your game fluctuates 120fps-300fps, set your refresh rate to 120Hz for strobing.
4. Use high DPI mouse, 1600dpi+, and lower in-game sensitivity
5. Check out viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3555
You need framerate=refreshrate=stroberate for strobing to look good. Triple match.
The LG doesn't single-strobe at 60Hz, so use a higher refresh rate.
This will reproduce the CRT experience better.

lower latency tweaking. like vtotals? also i do notice a little stutter in the ufo tests. any ideas how to fix that?
update: when i run the MBR test for strobe crosstalk it seems like its bouncing from one shadow to two. i guess its "acceptable". anyway i can make it better?

Hi, I just got this monitor and was wondering what is the difference between "Original" and "1:1" scaling mode, if you've tested it. Sorry for the revive, I'd PM but don't have the permissions to.k2viper wrote: For minimal input lag make sure you choose "Original" scaling mode under Aspect ratio settings. Default is Full wide, and it is like ~1full frame slower then Original! So if you dont absolutely have to, always choose Original mode!
There is no advertised "Dynamic action sync" option found, but in Original mode this display goes on par with best other 240hz screens with 4,5-5,0ms of total input delay
EDIT: Nevermind I did a bunch of testing myself and can confirm "1:1" is slower than "Original". Also it seems there's a bunch of additional input lag when running below 240hz (and not just because of the higher refresh rate). I tested against my ASUS VG248QE and the ASUS is a bit faster at 120hz and 144hz.

Any one from USA here? LG support on Twitter said we could contact their support team: https://twitter.com/LGUSSupport/status/ ... 9115880448

Chief, for a given monitor, 240hz strobed has lowest crosstalk, it is less visible then in 144hz strobed. Even using VT 1580-1582 for a 144hz (as maximum working VT found), do not make 144hz crosstalk less visible then 240hz. In 240hz, it is simply smaller due to a higher refreshrate.Chief Blur Buster wrote:To destutter/dejitter your strobed mode and remove all those double image crosstalk:

All optimal settings are included in first post.BrokeChemGrad wrote:lower latency tweaking. like vtotals? also i do notice a little stutter in the ufo tests. any ideas how to fix that?

Stuttering can be fixed by implying custom resolutions' VT to make its refreshrate exact 239,760Hz instead of default 239,759Hz. Many users already confirmed that such fix definitely works.

I was considering buying this 240hz monitor for low input lag and motion blur reduction but since it seems to have so many issues what is the best 240hz monitor in your opinion? Good motion blur reduction is most important.k2viper wrote:All optimal settings are included in first post.BrokeChemGrad wrote:lower latency tweaking. like vtotals? also i do notice a little stutter in the ufo tests. any ideas how to fix that?

I've contacted another country support, and I've got a satisfying reply. They've replied promptly, and asked for specific information about the affected units.
In order to help them keep the relevant information in one place, it would be better to reply in the same email thread. So, I ask you guys to send me the required information, and I will forward it to them.
Send me a private message here at the forum with the following information about your 27GK750F:
Serial number and "suffix code" (product code) is displayed on the back of your monitor.
Thanks
