LG 27GK750F-B - 240Hz, 27" 1ms Blur reduction, Freesync
Re: LG 27GK750F-B - 240Hz, 27" 1ms Blur reduction, Freesync
how can we ask/persuade LG to release an update for our monitors?
Re: LG 27GK750F-B - 240Hz, 27" 1ms Blur reduction, Freesync
There is no ready-to-go firmware update through OnScreen control atm. But as we can see the user-friendly sequence of updating monitor's firmware is enabled through this software for at least one monitor model.
I beleive if many people complain about this monitor current flaws, such as stuttering issue when it is running at 239,759Hz instead of 239,760 and is getting 239,759 at defaults, and its input lag in default Full wide and also 1:1 mode is way higher then in Original aspect mode, LG may also release a firmware to update on a user's end, the subject monitor also has USB connectivity and the cable is also provided just like the with 34" one.
Do LG have a support forum, perhaps we should start a thread there.

i'de say, lets unite. one of us create a thread there, describing the issues, than then ppl reply "i also have this problem, firmware version xxx". maybe this way they invest in releasing new firmware. maybe you k2viper, start such a thread, and inform us here?
thx!
thx!

Would be great!

Now the question is, do LG have a support forum for monitors? I havent found one yet.

Doesn't seem like it and contacting them directly is useless as the indian customer support doesn't understand anything, seems like our best bet would be to find forum/Reddit sub with LG representatives.

I made a post
https://lgcommunity.us.com/discussion/3 ... b/p1?new=1
Feel free to add your opinions, hopefully we may force LG to make something.

Done!
[For what it's worth, my revision does not have the issue. However it would still be nice to have an updated firmware that could resolve the issues for others and add more flexibility to an otherwise great monitor]

I followed up too, to vouch that the problem exists.
