Throw it in the bin, mine died one year after purchase, I was still in warranty, add a bit more to that money they are quoting you for the repair and get a better monitor, as I am sure another year later the white screen will happen again!
and in the long run its not worth it, seems like they change the screen for a new one a mine had a new screen!

The panel

Is not available for resale. I'll contact my local LG authorized repair shop for general questions or having my monitor repaired.
I imagine the panel won't be cheap or worth replacing, anyway.

However, this "Pcb Assembly" part should be a board according to Amazon listings and this would be an inexpensive attempt to repair the monitor. (because we don't know 100% what the faulty part is)

I'll go ahead and buy it after making a call tomorrow.

Just to add in, i had the "white screen of death" early this year. Fortunately, I was within a month of my warranty ending, I sent it to the repair center and they got a replacement panel from LG directly and gave it back to me like a week later.

Don't use gyazo.com if you want to embed images directly. That site does not allow direct linking. imgur.com is a better choice for direct links/embedding.

Holy, I think the top alien is the sharpest / clearest I've ever seen. Too bad the middle / lower on on the LG MBR one aren't as sharp.

Hey,

Great photos! Did you use stationary camera (OK for strobe crosstalk, if exposure is limited to exactly one refresh cycle) or pursuit camera (best for universal display motion blur photography).

For more accurate strobe crosstalk photography, please use www.testufo.com/ghosting and follow the handwave smartphone instructions. The sync track makes it easier to tell whether you pursuited correctly or not.

mine is still ok since I've applied the fix on the first post on the first day I got the screen.

here's my attempt to record video with my phone the testufo, using the tips chief said on the post (focus on the text above, and then pan manually):

Hey,

I used a 960fps camera to get these photos. I've tested a few monitors before, but the lg 27gk750b-f is just amazing with the MBR function.
I currently have the ViewSonic xg270 and the Asus VG279QM
and i will send them back and stay with my old gk750 because it is simply the best ( Watch first 2 photos)

and sorry for my bad english guys :D
