*Edit - never mind I can customize the 1st two gamer modes how I want, that's cool. So far this monitor seems SUPER responsive (coming from 165hz dell), I'm pretty amazed.

I never recommend these "FPS" presets. Or any presets, really.sdx wrote:I received this monitor today. I looks like when I select "FPS Gamer 1" mode it locks black stabilizer and response time settings so I'm unable to adjust those? I wish I could adjust black stabilizer to a lower amount, TN panels already suck with black as it is. Any way around this? Seems like you're locked into the preset settings for the "FPS Game" modes, that sucks.
Just use the "user" or "custom" preset (or whatever they're calling it) and configure things as you want them.

Thank you, I just realized I could customize the 1st two options. First thing I did was put it on "Original Mode". I had to instantly lower my mouse sensitivity because it felt so responsive. Placebo? IDK lol.RealNC wrote:[

Also, I originally had this monitor hooked up as a second monitor and it was displaying lots of ghosting and felt laggy but as soon as I disconnected my other monitor and set this one as main it totally removed the lag and ghosting issues...weird.

I do have a frame skipping bug when I switch from MBR on/off, but if I then change my refresh rate to 144hz, hit apply, then change back to 240hz it's gone.
Re: LG 27GK750F-B - 240Hz, 27" 1ms Blur reduction, Freesync
Ok, so with MBR off it's even more responsive? Feels that way. Wow, I just shattered my record on aimbooster. I'm in euphoria.

MBR always adds a tiny bit of latency. Don't know how much in this monitor, but it should be somewhere between 2 and 4ms.sdx wrote:Ok, so with MBR off it's even more responsive?

There are two, Gamer 1 and Gamer 2. They are fully customizable user profiles. Rest are pre-made presets that are not recommended to use.RealNC wrote:Just use the "user" or "custom" preset (or whatever they're calling it) and configure things as you want them.
Look out for fix I found for this behavior: viewtopic.php?p=31495#p31495sdx wrote:I do have a frame skipping bug when I switch from MBR on/off, but if I then change my refresh rate to 144hz, hit apply, then change back to 240hz it's gone.
Check your firmware revision (service menu) and prod.date on a back label. It is a chance that in newer firmwares LG aready fixed that issue.
Some measurements on this monitor did by XAKE, and he told me that impact of MBR on input latency was 0-2ms, minimal to no impact in his tests. Also, Original aspect mode decreases input delay regardless if MBR is on or off.RealNC wrote:MBR always adds a tiny bit of latency. The bug is even worse than simple frameskipping as the the monitor is actually outputting frames in the wrong order.k2viper wrote:

I've captured this with a high frame rate camera (check the end of the video):

This was taken with the firmware VER3.07, so this behavior isn't fixed in this version.
Your fix seems to work for me or at least seems to reduce the problem, as I didn't detect it after applying it.

Quick update from me is that I tried with original "on" and the default... and it didn't make a difference for me.
I suspect that it's a bug with a batch of monitors and not all of them behave the same way.
