When it starts to lose sync yes, it is going off every 20-30seconds until you powercycle it. After this it works fine for some days or even weeks, depending on how often you open OSD.

Well seems like LG is not really working on the problem, we posted in their forum.
It's almost 2 months ago now.

I could be wrong but we dont get any information whatsoever.
Even the first reply, we only got it, cause someone was actually asking.

I wish they would provide us atleast some Information, what is actually going on.

That's not normal. Probably yes, you should RMA it.

I noticed that sometimes. Turning it off and back on fixes it.

I've read through all this topic and it's still very hard to decide if it's a good monitor or not. I have XL2411z now and ordered this LG today. It will be interesting to compare both in non MBR mode, as I usually not use it. If Solid Lad wouldn't hate it so much, my mind would have been easier.

haha, sorry for the inconvenience :D

I was upgrading from an XL2411Z as well.
Motion will be smoother, that's for sure, and since you haven't tried other (better) 240hz displays like the xl2740, xl2540 or aw2518hf you might even be fully satisfied with the LG.
But going back and forth between my old 2411 and the LG, I noticed that I was doing better even with the old Benq, because of the lower input lag.

Afair you havent tried the Original scaling mode that time you had LG in hands?
Now it is known for sure that Original is the lowest lag mode.

I got the LG, set up as advised. I'm running with g-sync on, so no MBR. I haven't noticed if the input lag is higher, but I set it to Original scaling from the start. I will try to change it to check if I see the difference.
However, I really like this monitor. Bigger screen size, nicer colors, g-sync etc. an all round improvement from XL2411Z.
