Win 7, no option for 3840 x 1080 for samsung 49" C49HG90DMM
Hello, I just got this monitor, but there is no option under display port for its native resolution of 3840 x 1080. Max resolution i can choose is from my old monitor which is 1920x1080. I have win 7 operating system and radeon 380x card.I use display port and can not use HDMI for some reason because of my graphics card wont show picture that way on either of monitors. Also there is no option for more than 60 hz. Any suggestion would be helpful.

Strange. Maybe a failed Plug-N-Play detection.
Maybe use a Custom Resolution Utility and force-add 3840x1080?
Also, did you use the DisplayPort cable included with monitor? Any adaptors being used (mini DisplayPort)?

Hey Chief.Thank you for prompt answer. I don't know if it was failed Plug-N-Play detection. It did show monitor name under display settings. I have installed new ati drivers and i had to enable some setting called "virtual super resolution" to get this resolution as option, and now i have it under display settings. But there is no option for 144hz only 60 100 and 120. hmm
