Difficult choice! [ASUS MG279Q or Dell S2716DG?]
Re: Difficult choice! [ASUS MG279Q or Dell S2716DG?]
Thanks for the help! Now I understand that ASUS ROG PG279Q is the best monitor for today. But there is another model for the same money: Dell Alienware AW3418HW I could not find a test! What's better?

And yet I can not find the test: AOC Agon AG271QG. ((

It didn't fare quite as well as the ViewSonic XG2703-GS though (see the "Conclusion" section for the link to that test), even though they both have the same (or very similar) panel. But it doesn't seem to be too far off.

Asus ROG Swift PG279Q is more expensive at $ 300 than AOC AGON AG271QG! Is it worth it? (he is better?)

It's super new at the moment. Takes time.KindOldRaven wrote:If only that was available in Europe... The XG2560 can't be found anywhere here it seems
While I'd jump on ASUS as I have seen it, You may not find it's $300 better since they are extremely similar as it is the same 165Hz IPS panel. The AG271QG (IPS version) still blows away your older VA 60Hz by a huge margin in the most important metrics, especially input lag, GSYNC existence, ULMB existence, better than TN for movies.Endy wrote:Asus ROG Swift PG279Q is more expensive at $ 300 than AOC AGON AG271QG! If I was buying an AOC monitor, stick to their GSYNC monitors for now. I've seen bugs (e.g. frameskipping, extra ghosting) on some non-GSYNC AOC monitors. They are getting better and better, though.
