You may want to run Entech Taiwan softmccs and run the settings-factory-reset that way (from a 2nd monitor).
Make sure you select the correct monitor first, though.

Re: LG 31MU97 4K Monitor Service Menu Help
You really helped me a lot!! I cannot stress how thankful i am. I am sure the solution lies somewhere in here.
Although I did the factory reset, nothing changes. Anytime i see an option to revert something to its original form I do it and i make sure it's the correct monitor but the monitor still won't show anything. Is there any chance i borked it when i switched the panel name by mistake in the Service menu?
Thank you in advance!

Re: LG 31MU97 4K Monitor Service Menu Help
Did you fix it? I have similar problem. Changed the panel type in the service menu on my LG 38GN950, but I still have a picture. Everything is wrong though. Aspect ratio, resolutions, everything. And the worst part is that I can't get any OSD menu to show. Neither the regular nor the service menu. The model reported to Windows is wrong. It thinks it's an older WK95 display, 34 inchZathel wrote: ↑08 Apr 2020, 07:54You really helped me a lot!! I cannot stress how thankful i am. I am sure the solution lies somewhere in here.

Could anyone fix the above mentioned problem with the changed panel type in the service menu?
