bizarre screen tearing on single gpu

Post by ko4 » 06 Jul 2018, 17:01

Playin games on my setup has always been torture to my eyes

Decided to experiment a bit with my camera and made some shots of my monitor to take a closer look at the tearing
all shots taken with 1/60 shutter speed

these are the images i took https://imgur.com/a/dgtFnT5

one is the tearing with a 60fps lock and the other on a 70fps lock with rtss

shouldnt there be 1 tear line for every scan? or is this just normal tearing?

also upload a vid on youtube of my tearing on 60fps https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_cont ... r47CYswFlg

I'm not sure what you're asking here. If you don't want tearing, enable vsync.
