ViewSonic XG2530 - Optimal Settings?

Post by seastone95 » 11 Aug 2018, 16:20

Yo!

Just got upgraded to this monitor the other week. Went from BenQ xl2411Z 144hz to this and I have to say that I'm not sure If I should keep it or not.

It just feels.. Slow compared to the BenQ Xl2411Z + 1502 Tweak and Blur utility thingy.

Anyone that have this monitor? What settings are you running with?

I'm only playing CSGO on semi pro level.

The Viewsonic XL2530 has no blur reduction mode compared to XL2411Z. If you're very used to Motion Blur Reduction, make sure at least one of the listed motion blur reduction names are listed (e.g. "ULMB", "1ms MPRT", "LightBoost", "ELMB", "MBR", "Motion Blur Reduction", etc)

However, the Viewsonic XG2560 does have ULMB. Possibly future models may include blur reduction modes, you may want to ask ViewSonic directly.

Thank you for the reply.

I didn't use Motion Blur Reduction on my BenQ screen and I have the FreeSync version of the XG2530 (I only play CS:GO so Idc about GSYNC).

I don't know what to do.. I got it for $250, but I would be down to pay $500-600 for another monitor but I'm not sure if my CS:GO experience would improve. Do you have any tip? Should I get the BenQ XL2546 ? (All CSGO pros use this monitor)
