As the title says, my AW2518HF is not running at 240hz, instead its running at 239hz.
And if i set it at 144hz, it runs at 143hz.
Any idea on what the problem might be?

You can just check the advanced display settings in windows.

Windows will just truncate the true value. If it's 239.9, it will just say 239.

interesting, did not know that.
But if i make a custom rez with the Toasy app it will show 240hz in windows as well .

Well, you can always just test your refresh rate here (let it run for a while to get more accurate results):

What does it say after about 1 minute or so? Make sure nothing else is running on your PC. Also don't have any tabs open in your browser that can interfere (like youtube.)

Another thing is, the image is kinda grainy.
When i first got it, all was good and then i replaced the hdmi cable with DP and this grainy shit happened.
Later i swapped them back but the grainy image still remained.
