Ghosting on AW2518HF

Post by MrMOABy » 16 Oct 2018, 16:33

I've had the AW2518HF for a while now and this issue has been bugging me. I even got the panel replaced and still have the issue and have come to accept it. I saw people posting custom resolutions setup with CRU so I thought maybe those would be able to fix the ghosting issue. Basically when things are moving across the screen I can see a faint outline of where they just were. This occurs more so on 240hz than just 60hz. It also becomes even more exaggerated if I put response time on super-fast rather than normal. This was the page I was using to examine the issues.

That test is designed to always expose this flaw. Every LCD monitor has at least some ghosting. The test is there to show how much ghosting a monitor has, not whether it has any or not.
