Alienware AW2518HF Freesync blue-tinted ghosting at 240hz

Hi,
So i got this monitor on wednesday, I'm using it with DP cable and its on the standard preset, normal response time setting and with 75% brightness and 75% contrast. I have come across some ghosting that becomes more noticeable once you go over 201hz where the corona takes on a blue-tint as you approach the center of the monitor vertically. Here's three video examples of the ghosting:

I'v found that from 52% contrast the ghosting disappears, but then the monitor is way too dark.
Anyone else experience this issue?
I was looking through the previous thread about this monitor and someone posted these settings: https://i.imgur.com/3ay3gJa.png
I tried these settings and lo and behold it fixed the ghosting, but it creates way too much motion blur, so it seems to me like i need to experiment with different settings to find the best profile for 240hz.
