Best gaming monitor FPS / 1080p / 24' / cheap / no blur :)

Post by aggressiv » 14 Dec 2018, 01:21

Hello,

Now i got xl2411z V2 with boost.
But i need Displayport now (I buy 2070 rtx) :(

Soo what is cheapest (new) monitor at now? 5 years ago was easy to chose, now... now i srsly dont know :( i bought agon ag251fz 240hz but blur is creazy...

120hz is enought (ulmb?), or 240hz with ulmb (is possible? or only 120hz /144 got ulmb?) with low input lag?

I want monitor without strobe / flicker issue.

Is hard prices in Poland now for monitor so i need something cheap (2000pln = around 500usd)

Btw. I play fps (cs go, pubg, bf V, so i need low input / clear view :) )

Btw thx for all content Chief Blur Buster !! Perfect site :)

@edit now i read, there is no monitor for me :( (240hz with no blur).
So qestion - Better is 240hz (o got now AG251FZ or old XL2411z -> 120hz "+ulmb" - i know 2411z dont have ulmb, but it have other blur reduction :P at ~110-130 fps pubg?

I've seen 240Hz monitors with half the motion blur of 120Hz.

The AG251FZ was one of the first 240Hz monitors and was very unoptimized -- has more blur than the average 240Hz monitor:

Even the G-SYNC verison of AOC is much better than the older AOC 240Hz you have.

For low-lag blur reduction you might want to try the XL2546 with the 182Hz strobed mode. Blur reduction on new 240Hz monitors are much brighter than XL2411Z ... doesn't become as dark. And you can reduce pulse width more (clearer motion).

thanks Chief,

I think:
For low-lag blur reduction you might want to try the XL2546 with the 182Hz strobed mode
- is best option for now.

Blur reduction on new 240Hz monitors are much brighter than XL2411Z
- i dont neet brighter monitor :) got v2 version and boost it - looks perfect for me.

Blur on Agon was creazy, but i miss now on XL2411z that low input lag :(
And Im afraid now of PG258Q. I see blur is much lower but its still blur..

I think i will wait for new BENQ model (I gues they will made 240hz + strobe).
Any information about relese date of new model??
And i think about:

I have oled lg and i love it.
But im afraid of input lag 120hz and blur :(
