No problem! If you already have a 144hz monitor, buying another 144hz monitor, even if the input lag is vastly inferior, ends up being a "sidegrade". In your situation the only worth upgrades imo would be:Kjnmr wrote:Thanks for all the info! I highly value your opinion since I read you also play fast paced games like quake. Do you think the 24 inch viewsonic will be a noticeable upgrade to my older benq 144hz? I found no review on input lag on my old monitor, so I cant compare them.

With that being said, ViewSonic XG2402 is for sure a better monitor for gaming than your current option, but, wether or not you are willing to spend money on that, is up to you! I would, but I´m crazy addicted to monitors and this kind of stuff! I had most of the first gen 240hz monitors; then I switched to the new Asus XG248Q 240hz because it is the first native 240hz screen, and I also have tried many secondary monitors, wich right now is XG2402. Had VA, curved, flat, TN, IPS, etc. I love monitors, and Quake being my main game, contributes a lot for this. Is the perfect benchmark for monitors, mouse, mousepad, keyboards, Synch technologies, etc
Just waiting on those Oled 120hz now
