Benq XL2740 question

Does the XL2740 support AMD Freesync, if Benq Blur Reduction is disabled in the service menu? Does it actually work? (I know it works if you do the HDMI trick with manually adding the freesync range--i'm talking about Displayport natively).

(similar to how the XL2540 did the same thing even though it wasn't advertised as supporting Freesync?)
