UPVOTE Microsoft 512Hz Limit (Link to Microsoft Bug Page)

Post by Chief Blur Buster » 24 Jan 2019, 23:56

Vote This Microsoft 480Hz Bug --> Clicky

This Windows10-only link launches the Microsoft Feedback Hub application on Windows 10.
1. Go to link
2. It will launch Feedback Hub
3. Please upvote there

This is the bug report supplied to Microsoft about the Windows 512 Hz limitation. Windows can't go above 512Hz.

(Link doesn't work on Mac, Linux, or smartphones, since Microsoft asks you to be already running Windows 10 to upvote bug reports on Windows 10! Don't blame me for that part, wink, wink...)

No.

I'm pretty sure the current limits to refresh rate are all arbitrary. Basically manufacturers think we don't want it, so they don't make it, and it saves them money on R&D. Since we'll buy whatever we think is currently the 'best', they just keep making whatever is marketed as the 'best', and people buy it.

Just like 1000hz mice. Lack of gaming OLEDs. Sub 1ms TN panels didn't exist for the longest time. Nvidia didn't even look at input delay for the most part till this whole 'anti-lag' thing.

Case and point Asus marketing their 4K 120hz monitor as the 'gaming wet dream'.

640Kb of memory isn't enough and no one should ever think it is.

We already have 1000Hz in the laboratory.

Please carefully read the whole page: www.blurbusters.com/1000hz-journey

Also, Blur Busters was the world’s first website to test an experimental 480Hz monitor.
