@1000WATT I went down the rabbit hole and tried every trick in the book to trick the graphics driver. Nothing worked for my XL2730Z. I did lots of research on the topic and tried lots of different tricks and nothing worked. There's only a handful of monitors that the trick works on and most of them are all newer models. I did figure out how to enable FreeSync though, and I'm very happy with the end result (viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4921&p=40712#p40712). Thank you for the help and getting me to actually try and get FreeSync working again at the very least.

@Chief Blur Buster I agree 100% that ULMB looks the best as long as your frame rate matches your monitor's refresh rate. I also use a higher DPI as well as cleaning my mouse feet and mouse pad to keep things looking more fluid.

On this forum there is a topic about gsync+ulmb so I think they will not punish me for this manual.
1 Select a profile as a standard and make sure that mbr is disabled in this profile.
2 make sure gsync works and is available in nvcp.
3 save standard profile in gamer 1 gamer 2 gamer 3. (there should be 3 identical profiles)
4 Select a profile 2. Find a section in the monitor "display mode" select 17 19 21 any and save in profile 2.
5 Select a profile 3. in the monitor menu, turn on "mbr" and save in profile 3.
6 Select a profile 3. in the monitor menu, turn off "mbr" but do not save in profile.
7 in the monitor menu https://imgur.com/U0UGP7e sequentially switch profile 3-2-1.
8 now, when sequentially switching from profile 1 to profile 2 and to profile 3, will be activate "mbr". but now the screen will not go out for a couple of seconds as with the usual activation "mbr".
9 switch profile 3-2-1 and restart pc in order to nvcp to be available again in gsync.
10 activate gsync in nvcp and switch profile 1-2-3.

I did it more than 2 years ago. but it seems to be right. brightness is 120 hertz higher in this mode. best used rtss 120 limit.
I often do not clearly state my thoughts. google translate is far from perfect. And in addition to the translator, I myself am mistaken. Do not take me seriously.

@1000WATT Apologies for not responding in a timely manner. I've been wanting to reply for so long, but I was locked out of my account and the Blur Busters site has an issue with the Captcha service it uses for protecting accounts. Will this tweak stay permanently between reboots, or will I have to redo this every time I reboot? Thanks.

This tweak is not related to the os. Much time has passed, it is strange that you have not tried.

I'll try and get around to applying it then. I'll let you know how it goes soon!

Sadly, the guide you've posted did not work for me. I tried it multiple times and rebooted multiple times to no avail. G-SYNC simply disappears when going to profile 3. Profile 3 takes a second to kick in as well no matter I did. I simply followed each step to no avail.
