AW2518HF + Super fast responses time

Hello,
So I bought AW2518HF and I was so hyped about it. I’ve read so many great reviews about that monitor. But I have issue with him. When I set response time on super fast I get inverse ghosting. It’s not that big of deal but I was so disappointed to get that from 240 hz gaming monitor. First of all I come from vg248qe, and I still don’t know did I make right call. Everything seems maybe worst with new monitor. I play overwatch with 300 FPS and I still have micro stutters like on Vg248qe, thought i get rid of them with new monitor, but not. Also the reason I made this post is, is there any way to get rid of coronas, and microstutters? And plz don’t tell me to set response time to normal. I paid for super fast response time and I’ll stick to it.
Thanks for the responses

It seems someone managed to fix the issue by using a custom 240Hz mode and making sure to operate the display in freesync/gsync mode. See:

Bottom line though is that this monitor seems to have been shipped with completely broken default parameters so you need to fix them yourself.

To make it simple just go to the YouTube video from RealNC's suggested links:

FYI, I also bought the monitor and I'm arming myself with knowledge :) Should be arriving at any time :D

Is this still possible, because I’m using FreeSync version of monitor with gtx 1080? I’ll try everything as soon as I come home. Thanks for reply’s I’ll keep you posted

The new nvidia drivers allow you to enable g-sync on freesync displays, so it should work.

G-sync only works with displayport. But you can do the CRU parte even without g-sync.
