Re: colour banding,
posting screenshots won't help. If the banding is an issue with your display or your video settings, it will only show up on your display. How severe is the banding?
Re: colour banding,
well, its there but not very much, just thinking can it be fixed or reduced.spacediver wrote:posting screenshots won't help. If the banding is an issue with your display or your video settings, it will only show up on your display. How severe is the banding?

Re: colour banding,
I have the same monitor as you. Banding is normal in this type of panels, as they are 6bit + FRC (dithering). Another issue could be in the game itself. The sky is something prone to banding in games, and some compressed textures can have it, or even the lighting system itself (I think).dippadui wrote:well, its there but not very much, just thinking can it be fixed or reduced.spacediver wrote:posting screenshots won't help. There's nothing you can do about the monitor (provided that your gamma and contrast are OK). If the monitor says "I'll represent this shade of color by dithering", nothing can be done.
