Hi,
at the beginning, I apologize for my poor English.
I want to buy a new monitor. I play practically only in csgo.I think the best for me will be 240hz. What to choose?
I was thinking about this monitor: Acer KG251QDBMIIPX or Dell Alienware AW2518HF
240hz, cs;go. Alienware aw2518hf or acer kg251q?
Re: 240hz, cs;go. Alienware aw2518hf or acer kg251q?
Alienware model has lower input lag and a less aggressive coating, wich helps to eliminate a lot of smearing/grainy effect.
It has a high risk of overdrive problems tho, with some samples having an awful white trail on the mouse pointer on windows desktop even. Some tricks like changing the contrast can help to aolve it a bit but still a lottery.
Acer is slower but apart from that no real big issues. Is not a perfect monitor and the first units had frame skipping. Wich might no be your case

If acer is slower, then I will try alienware. If there are problems with him, I will return him.Notty_PT wrote:Alienware model has lower input lag and a less aggressive coating, wich helps to eliminate a lot of smearing/grainy effect.
