Hello,

first of all I am sorry If this is not right forum to post this question about TVs, but I hope it's fine.

May I ask you for a help or a recommendation what 4K TV mainly for PS4 + watching some sports should I get? To be honest.. I did some research etc.. and I ended up with 100hz/120hz Samsung NU8002. BUT!! I don't have my gaming room that big so I think 55'' is too big for me. And I just found out.. that 50'' version of NU8002 is only 50/60hz. Is there an equivalent of it with 100hz display?

I created this post on this forum regarding my problem in here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5188

Thank you very.

Do you need motion smoothing for PlayStation?

The Samsung NU8000 series is great for its low-lag Game Mode Interpolation, which is one of the few ways to do frame rate amplification today in a game-friendly manner (30/60fps -> 120fps). It set a high bar in low-latency frame rate amplification for gaming consoles, so it will be very difficult to replace the NU8000 series with something smaller, as most game monitors don't yet have frame rate amplification technologies built in (yet).

If you're not needing any frame rate amplification technology (spacewarping, or low-lag interpolation, or DLSS-style, etc), then your choices of HDTVs and monitors broadens widely.

Alternatively, if you mainly do PC gaming, you also gain a lot of other motion-improving advantages that are not currently or easily available for gaming consoles.

I think one can simultaneously use both with some ports.

Samsung 50RU7100 (7105 on Europe) has only 10ms input lag at 60hz (leo bodnar test). Is a 60hz tv with monitor grade input lag. Unbeatable imo.

Idk about any 120hz tv with less than 55 inches.

Is the 10 ms input lag a constant or does it spike up and down and 10 ms is just average?
