Hey guys.
Could any of you please confirm that this is the same monitor, except the stand is adjustable?

This monitor is interesting.
I have sensitive eyes to brightness/light
I read Notty_PT post about brightness
But on Rtings, they have 101 cd/m² with brightness at 6, which is too much for my eyes
I had the 24G2U, but even at zero, at 89 cd/m², it was way to bright
Can it go about at least 50 cd/m² ?

stay away from this monitor, i sold it after 1 month i tried all settings and everything possible to make this monitor good...my main monitor was CRT OC to 120hz i dominated in battlefield all series (almost everytime MVP and accuracy with above 50% in battlefield 3 with m16a3) and paladins, then i wanted to change my crt ( its huge its not good for eyes etc) i bought this LG and i started to be noob in those games my accuracy never went above 35% i noticed and big input lag..then i bought asus xg258q and my stats come back my accuracy again above 50-60%...my advice for budget go for asus vg248qe or ViewSonic XG2402

Re: 24gl600f
The very old VG248QE has more lag than the much newer XG258Q. That said, the XG2402 is one of the best low-cost low-lag 144 Hz monitors and is quite popular among our readers.singleDADAN wrote: ↑05 Nov 2019, 17:15stay away from this monitor, i sold it after 1 month i tried all settings and everything possible to make this monitor good...my main monitor was CRT OC to 120hz i dominated in battlefield all series (almost everytime MVP and accuracy with above 50% in battlefield 3 with m16a3) and paladins, then i wanted to change my crt ( its huge its not good for eyes etc) i bought this LG and i started to be noob in those games my accuracy never went above 35% i noticed and big input lag..then i bought asus xg258q and my stats come back my accuracy again above 50-60%...my advice for budget go for asus vg248qe or ViewSonic XG2402

Hi,
Has anyone tried overclocking this monitor? How high can you go without issues and when the 'out of range' sign shows up, has anyone found a way to remove it?
Thanks

Re: 24gl600f
edit: 153hz is only stable the first time I use it. After a while, or when I restart the pc it gets choppy. So I turned back to 144hz.
1920*1080@153hz by creating a custom resolution in AMD. Beyond that the "out of range" pops on the screen all the time. There is no way in removing that, only by changing the firmware, so basically the manufacturer can do it and they won't because of reasons. I overclocked it to 165hz and was stable without turning black but is useless with the out of range message. So either default 144hz is pretty good for gaming or try your luck at 153 or above, see where it pops for you.
Also, I'm using Aspect ratio Original instead of Full wide as rtings reviewed it as lowest display lag. Then for me personally, while playing CS:GO I find that turning off overdrive (response time) will give me better reactions compared to Fast. Fastest option would be fine but too much ghosting, no matter the contrast setting. So turning to Off gives me the best reaction in games, like I don't feel at disadvantage anymore compared to Fast (also, cl_interp_ratio 1 and rate 786432 if you play csgo).
Other settings I use: smart energy saving off, automatic standby off, contrast 60, brightness 100, Gamma 2, Color Temp Warm, Black Stabilizer and Sharpness 60. (lowest/brightest gamma with fullscreen mode in csgo).

Re: 24gl600f
I don't know why but when the windows is shut down, it disables "1ms motion blur reduction." Also, when opened the screen when it is off, windows make a "input" sound like that of when we stick USB into it. Is there any way to fix this?
