@do0om I will 100% buy it! But not now. I dont even have a system now and will travel, so after summer I will plug the trigger.

As for TfT central, Im not a fan of their methodologies and I had several debates with its author on twitter. One of the examples, he keeps saying chroma 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 are basically the same. Whatever. Plus their input lag tests are very innacurate.

Rtings is my number 1 reference for monitors and TVs.

That's what happens with bleeding edge testing. Not everyone is the same page as nothing is standardized or vetted by a organization or consensus.

Just getting hardware review websites to even think about input delay when talking about new hardware is like pulling teeth.

Even worse when the author is very arrogant and won´t accept criticism at all. If you go tell him that his tests are very outdated and innacurate, he will tell you that they are as good as the Rtings ones. From that point you know it´s useless to keep debating....

Plus when he told me no one is able to distinguish 4:4:4 chroma subsampling from 4:2:2 I knew I should just give up. Is one of those things that even without testing tools, you immediatly notice. Just an web page with text, if you didn´t notice already on your own desktop/icons.

Too bad rtings don't have the detailed response time measurements of TFTCentral. Although a good testufo pursuit photograph can give you a decent idea of motion handling.

Hi guys, I was in the market for a new monitor,
mine cheap €159 Hanns.G HS233 120hz did a good job for the past 7 years but now it's time for his retirement.

I tried the LG 24GL600 €186 for a few days but it was not giving the improvement over the Hanns.G I expected, and yes it is a nice cheap
monitor and now also available with height adjustment(24GL650-B) €229, but no dp cable included which raises the price with another €20.

After lurking this "very good" website I pulled the trigger and bought the HP X 25F for €349 Amazon.es (thanks Notty for the tip!) so for €100 more I have a new 240hz good reviewed low inputlag monitor, the price at the moment is almost the same as the previous gen. 240hz monitors, I think it's a good buy.

Hope I will enjoying this one for the coming years like I did with the hanns.G because I'm not "a buying every year new hardware type" ;)

I will let you know.

I bought one from the HP website, it will be here today! It was $377.50 with free shipping but that is with a discount - they list it for $449.99.

I have been pretty satisfied with the few weeks I have been using my overclocked BenQ at 215, the only negative is I just can't get the colors exactly the way I want them but at this price I couldn't turn down trying out the HP.

€377 is a very good price also, I'm from the Netherlands, the monitor here isn't even released yet so I was looking in shops from Germany, I like the service from Amazon so I pulled the trigger.
This monitor has no black frame insertion, no built-in speakers also no swivel or rotate function so I think this has some influence on the final price, actually I was not planning to use one of that functions.
Mostly I play cs:go and from what I've been reading about this monitor this will be a perfect choice for the game.
I was also considering buying a Benq for overclocking looks like a good option too but this one is better the choice I think, let us know your first impressions when you receive it, mine is coming next Tuesday.
