AW5520QF

Finally! A 4k monitor we can get behind.

I am curious however as to why the response time is 0.5ms and not lower, given the nature of OLEDs.
Could this be a native 0.5ms response time?

Also what are peoples reactions to this monitor so far?

In my opinion, it's just a waste of money right now. You won't be able to do 120fps at 4k in most games. And the games where you can do that are OW, CSGO and R6S and similar. And even then - 55" is way too much for those games. $4k for a monitor and $4k for a rig - seems pointless to me, even if you got fuck you money. Unless you really, REALLY want that 4k 120hz browser/Windows experience, obviously.

I'm curious to what people think of the technology since it's the first high hz low response time OLED monitor. Yes the price is exorbitant, but besides that any thoughts?

Would this have lower response times then the new lg TVs with HDMI 2.1? It seems like it would still be a better and cheaper idea to get an OLED TV.

A bit too big, but i'd like to have one :D .

The only problems of OLED are:
1- Burn in, is it worse than on CRTs? Because never had any problem with these.
2- Being organic some people claim they will degrade over time, but some others say they have been using them for a long time. I wonder how much can they last with a normal (just like any other monitor) use.

Anyway, i hope they release smaller and (way) cheaper monitors soon :D .
