Cheapest offer what i found was 534 Euro. I don`t want to buy TFTs from Shops outside of Germany because shipping is too expensive and chances are high to lose panel lottery.
No reviews found so far which is really annoying.

Hmm, could this potentially mean anything in terms of modding or overclocking to 480hz?
From my understanding the backlight flickers (one or two times for this model) during transitions between two Frames. It is still 240Hz refresh rate.

The BFI feature is a bit strange on this monitor. When it's enabled, it's no longer possible to adjust the backlight. The backlight instead changes to a fixed level, which varies depending on the refresh rate. With Overdrive set to 'Extreme' and the refresh rate set to 240Hz, the backlight pulses twice, which can cause noticeable duplications in motion.
Is this a problem?

Does the BenQ Zowie XL2546 do it too? Will XF252Q be better with strobbing at 240hz than the XL2546?

I pulled the trigger... Acer xn253qx because it is available from german retailers. I still don't know if the Omen x 25 is the better choice.

There is a review of the XN253QX up on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-WCB45RhbA which convinced me to buy the monitor. Seems to be one of the best, if not the best 240Hz monitor on the market atm.

Yeah, I contacted the guy and asked about his opinion. He favors the Acer based on user feedback. He also couldnt tell me which panel is used for the HP Omen X 25 but suggest it is the old one. I searched the whole internet for information.

As I understand it, the ONLY differences between the X 25 and the X 25F is that the X 25 has gysync module, one less letter in its name, and a higher price. I believe it also has different ports. I bought the X 25, will arrive in a couple weeks. Paying $410 NZD just for the shipping and import, really hope it doesn't arrive damaged or in need of RMAing. :(

Can someone explain how does the Omen have lower input lag although it states 1ms GtG while the Nitro has slightly higher input lag with 0.3ms GtG?

What about the XN253QX and KD25F that they state 0.4/0.5ms respectively, is this not the case? I also see that @ tomshardware reviews the Omen has lower input lag than the KD25F.

What am I missing here?

Good Questions. How do I manually subscribe to the thread without making a reply?

Thanks

Today my xn253q arrived. No faulty pixels, no backlight bleed (just a bit of irregularity near edges, but hey we're talking about TN) and ghosting is invisible to me @normal mode. Blur is really hard to notice at 240Hz even when compared to ULMB on. I'm coming from IPS@60Hz which had horrible blur, so maybe my eyes need more time to adapt.
