I have the best 144Hz monitor ever, should I buy 240Hz?

LG 27GK750F-B for example? The only thing I need - low inputlag, less overshoot, fast pixel response. Colors and other crap doesn't matter.
Or It's better to wait for something faster (0.5ms- 240Hz+)?

If you mean the XG240R or 24GL650F, then I would say no to the 27GK750F. It's the best of the original (2017) 240Hz models in terms of its overall picture quality calibration and overdrive tuning, but the transition times are high enough that it isn't as good of a 240Hz model as the 240R and 650F are 144Hz models. So I would not say it's a good upgrade, you'll be trading exquisite overdrive tuning with almost perfectly clean motion for 240Hz with more smearing and overshoot.

If you really want to move to 240Hz, the minimum would be a 2019 model with the new M250HTN01.9 panels found in the XF252Q and XN253QX. These models offer the truly clean motion handling that you would see on the XG240R.

As the guy above said, the XF252Q looks good as far as pixel transition times go so it'll have way less blur than other 240hz panels. And it doesnt cost an arm as the top older 240hz ones.

K, guys! Thanks a lot. Already ordered XF252Q, will try it out in a few days. Great price (costs just 300 USD here).
Seems like it must be a lot better than 27GK750F-B and cheaper. Also I don't need 27" for my setup.

Please test it in "high Hz, low FPS" scenario and let us know your impression about it. Older 240Hz model seemed to fail in artifact-free performance on low FPS, which seems to not be the case with this new Acers.

Tested it in CSGO with fps_max 50, nothing happens. What should I look for? No artifacts or anything strange. Some games I play (Apex Legends) drops FPS to ~100-120 (start of the match) and everything is okay@240Hz.

Sorry, my bad - I've forgot that problems on low FPS applied to VRR only (reread the relevant topics and recalled it).

The overdrive may not be perfectly calibrated at a specific refresh rate like 173Hz or 159Hz or whatever you will -- for it to be perfect, the VRR's variable overdrive (Which must dynamically vary properly) to tune GtG in a custom way to minimize ghosting/corona artifacts during all frame duration times (all Hz in the VRR range).
