XN253QX has been very good for me. Great overdrive tuning, great OOTB calibration with accurate gamma, white point and reasonably accurate colours, although some colours hitting as high as 5-6dE. And as expected with true G-sync, variable overdrive which is very nice when playing lower frame rate games.

I have the option to buy x25f(380€ amazon.es) , x25 with gsync module(399€ amazon.de) , and acer predator XN253QX(499€ amazon.de), but im still waiting to 240hz ips to arrive in euro amazons
Check geizals and keepa to track the prices of the gsync compatible omen 25f. It is regularly heavily discounted, it was 270 euros here in portugal a couple of weeks ago.
Olá companheiro!

That's what Im doing, but looks like the prices only went down on the black friday/cyber monday
You can always consider the Acer Nitro XF252Q too, rtings and tftcentral both have a review on it. Slightly more input lag but pixel response is better as it is (guaranteed) the new 1.9 AUO panel. I would always get this one as you can tilt vertically.

https://geizhals.eu/acer-nitro-xf2-xf25 ... 18384.html
Thanks, already order it at amazon.fr, price droped to 299€. I was 1 click away from buy XN253QX for 500€, but checked this topic on time
If I don't like the xf252qx I just return it

Just to make sure you are aware of it - the reason the XF252QX is so much cheaper in comparison to the XN253QX, is because the former is just G-SYNC compatible, whereas the latter actually has the G-SYNC module... Others will correct me if I'm wrong, but that pretty much means that if you were to use G-SYNC in games where you drop frames, the XN is guaranteed to be objectively better than the XF.

Again - keep in mind that a monitor is something you buy every few years, so in the grand scheme of things, when you check the price difference, it comes down to a few cents extra a day.

I purchased my XL2420Z in mid 2014, and now I plan to get a new one (hopefully 24-25" 240Hz ISP, once they becomes available and if they do well in reviews). It's been over 5 years, and I will still use the XL as my second monitor for years to come, but let's assume I use it for "just" 8 years. Let's assume I picked it up over a cheaper monitor that would have cost me back then $200 less. 8 years = 2920 days. 200/2920= $0.68. If I were to go for a cheaper monitor, I would have saved $0.68 a day. Is it really worth it for something that I'll be using for far longer than 8 years, almost on a daily basis? To me the answer is clearly No, regardless of how broke I may be at the time of the purchase. :d

Just my 2 cents.

I don't use gsync since it adds abit of lag input(correct me if i'm wrong), and I always have 240+ fps.
But like I said before, if I don't like it I just return it.
I will probably will sell it and buy a 240hz IPS 24-25" when they start coming out.

I like to switch monitores every year / 2 years.
For example:
I bought vg248qe for 220€(new) used it for 2 years sold it by 190€
Bought aw2518hf(shit monitor) for 308€, manage to use it for 1 year and 2 months and sold it by 292€(shipped).
Both cost me around ~0.65€/day, but this way I always have recent monitors and coverved by 2 years warranty(very important for me).

Cant use g sync past 240 fps. most pros dont use it. I only got the g sync version because i play apex at 165. That gane maxes out at 190 before frame pace issues.

Oh shit, if you constantly switch your monitors and successfully get almost retail price for your monitors then by all means, go for it. I thought you'd be using your pick for the next few years.

As for the G-SYNC, don't quote me on that, because I haven't had time to fully dig into it, but there was a way to eliminate the additional input lag (or at least, close to it) by limiting your FPS to a few points below the refresh rate. So in Fortnite, for example ,you'd set your FPS to 237. In Fortnite you get really inconsistent frame rates (because it varies, obviously. You can have 240+ and you can have below 100), so G-SYNC is the way to go there. In your case, since you can easily reach 240+ (do you play CSGO?), I'm not sure if you would benefit from G-SYNC, really... I imagine that if I were to play to CSGO again then I wouldn't be using G-SYNC, either. Not sure what the pro CSGO players do nowadays, though.

I play csgo, fortnite, apex. Fortnite and apex only pubs with friends, so no stack lobbies, my frame rate are always above 200 end game. CSGO 240 limited, some drops inside smokes. Apex I don't know what framerate im getting, but the game feel smooth at my previous 240hz monitor.

But I really wanna test this games at a 24-25" IPS 240hz, and I feel like it will be easier to sell a 300€ XF than a 500€ XN, and thats why I went for the XF.

Haha i can cancel the order so thats not the point.
Im also interested in the best 240 hz gysnc monitor. Is the XN253QX it from what you found @SwaggyFN? Did you consider any others that were cheaper? Sorry to hijack.
Of course I considered cheaper ones but the reviews for the xn253qx were amazing. And for myself now just to let u know - i have never seen such a good monitor. Brooooo a TN-Panel with almost IPS Image quality. If you tweak everything right you get a perfect picture. Everything clean and fast. No blur no ghosting.
