I'd like to know the input lag of the XL2546S with DyAc+ on/off.
Little to none if you push the strobe phase below the crosshair area, read this post by Chief: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6206&start=80#p51211
So something similar to this Image with the values divided by 2, so between 0 and 4.166 ms. Hopefully this part of the equation is not too bad seeing how it should hopefully be closer to 0 near the center of the screen, the most crucial part for competitive fps gaming.

So that covers the added latency from DyAc+ on. What about the baseline input lag of the monitor with DyAc+ off? I'd like to hear from some testing sites about the input lag of the XL2546S. One of the main reasons I'm considering buying it is that I have the ViewSonic XG2530 and I am unhappy with its high input lag.
Well I can't speak to the XL2546S as all the reviews so far have been crappy YouTube ones that read off a spec sheet. However, the XL2746S was reviewed by Playwares Korea and they did perform g2g and input lag tests: http://playwares.com/dpreview/57666851

They used SMTT 2.0 for the input lag test using a CRT monitor as a baseline which isn't as good as an oscilloscope but still provides pretty accurate results. For input lag they found it to be between 2-3 ms and g2g with AMA on high is 1.8 ms and with AMA set to premium it's 1.6 ms:

Anyone have this in a dual monitor set up side by side with an IPS for daily use? Is it weird going back and forth between IPS and TN throughout the day?

I have had the BenQ XL2746S now for a few days. I havent done any professional calibration for the display but I got the all the settings to what I think is my optimal configuration at the moment. Thought Id share it.

Before I share my settings. Here are some things I thought to be important while trying to get the monitor to look its best.

-I think there are some minor differences/advantages to each Picture Mode. For example, I felt like the Movie setting actually had slightly better sharpness than the other settings. However I prefer Standard at the moment because I thought I perceived it as having better contrast than Movie. Im not sure if this was just my imagination but try setting the modes to similar settings and then switching between them and see if you have a preference over one.

- The Black Equalizer and Gamma Settings really help you adjust the Gamma to your liking. You can set the Gamma Setting to any of the 5 options, and then use the Black Equalizer to tweak the Gamma some more.

- Going into the DISPLAY settings tab and switching the RGB Range to RGB (16-235) made the colors and contrast much better and less dull for me.

GAME SETTINGS
Dyac+ = Premium
Black Equalizer = 3/10
Color Vibrance = 15/20
Low Blue Light = 0
Instant Mode = On

PICTURE
Picture Mode = ->>Standard<<-, FPS 1, FPS 2, RTS, Movie
Brightness = 50/100
Contrast = 65/100
Sharpness = 10/10
Gamma = ->>Gamma 1<<-, Gamma 2, Gamma 3, Gamma 4, Gamma 5
Color Temp = User = R 96/100, G 94/100, B 100/100
AMA = Premium
Color Weakness = OFF
Dynamic Contrast = This option is greyed out.

DISPLAY
Input = Display Port
Display Mode = Full
RGB Range = RGB (16-235)

I'm excited to get it even though I feel filled with questions :).

My order is in at BandH and they are saying it comes into stock july 2nd... I hope that means I actually get it.... They usually good about this backordered stuff?

Scrubz, did you see my message earlier?
Sorry if you were busy. If you have time, can you take a short pursuit video of 60hz "double strobe" so we can see just how bad it is?
the 100hz one is acceptable, but I really want to see just how awful 60hz is before I spend $600 on this monitor :(

Thank you!

There's no need to see it: Simple mathematics dictates that 60 Hz double strobe is predicted to be a 50%:50% alphablend, separated by half a refreshtime apart. It's two exact-identical-visibility images.

I was able to emulate double-strobe via software BFI using TestUFO (no strobe backlight required!)
TestUFO Software-Based Emulation of Double Strobe

This motion test scientifically demonstrates the double-impulse issue of frame rate that is half strobe rate. 60fps @ 120Hz strobe (whether 120Hz native refresh or 60Hz with double strobe; effect is identical).

Sorry Chief. i didn't mean to cause trouble. I Just want to make sure before I buy a very expensive monitor. I'm a disabled person living on SSI and section 8 so I'm trying to be careful with my money. I'm sorry.

Oh no, you didn't cause trouble -- just wanted to warn you in advance that all 60 Hz double-strobe is all equally bad.

I'm just about to give into buying it soon because the 240hz strobing and RTA artifacts are extremely good and the 100 and 120hz are acceptable and it seems that the monitor responds to the old VT tweaks that reduce crosstalk also. Just haven't made up my mind because I need an oscilloscope also...

I'll do a 60 hz test for you real quick and edit this post once it's done. Here you go, terrible as predicted and this is with VT 1350 tweak by the way:

No amount of tweaking can fix that mess.
