Yikes I hope that isn't the new design and is just a pre-production model because that base is fugly. If it's still TN then it might be a different panel vendor, who knows. I wish BenQ would give straight answers instead of being so coy. Either way I'm very happy I got my XL2746S back in April, I've been enjoying every minute of it. Speaking of which, Amazon will be getting the XL2746S in stock very soon if anyone wants to snap one up: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0846 ... UTF8&psc=1
It's hard to tell what theses monitors are going to be. Benq announced some 144hz ips monitors under the Benq brand why would they release more under the Zowie one? But in the same time I find it hard to believe that it would a Tn panel, since non have been announced? Plus there have been better 24 inch 144hz Tn panels for a while, why do it now.

My best guess is that they're going the Ips route with these monitors, It would also explain the new aesthetic. Which, by the way is so hideous, I wonder who approved of these.
In my opinion it'd be very weird if they'd be IPS displays since BenQ decided to give them the model names XL25XXX and XL24XXX since they'd be very different from their predecessors and naming them like that makes them sound like just a new iteration of the model...

I for one like the stand. Not a fan of their previous stand. Gets in my mousepads way....

Anyone with a xl2546s kind enough to post a testufo youtube video? I was told that the xl2546s has worse crosstalk than the xl2746s.

This website claims both the XL2546K and XL2411K are supposedly 240Hz TN panels.

I got the xl2546s it arrived today. Test ufo doesn't look like the xl2746s pursuit videos made by Dirty Scrubz, they look like the gif from the Chinese review someone posted awhile ago. The biggest difference is in the yellow of the alien, on the xl2745s it looks like there are no artifacts but on the xl2546s there are ghosting trails in the yellow. Service menu tweaks don't really help. I will probably give it a 2 weeks trial but I will most likely return the xl2546s. Not sure if I will grab the xl2746s or wait for the xl2546k.

I'll be receiving my xl2546s today, upgrading from 144hz. What can I do to test that I got a quality unit that works as advertised? I don't want to spend $500 for benq to give me one with inferior parts.

Yeah i received my xl2546s also and after abit of tweaking the colours are not that bad for a TN panel but still not on IPS levels i would say.
i think it does feel ever so slightly more responsive but in terms of motion blur im not sure i can tell a big difference. I play a lot of FPS games also. I think i might return it and stick with my VG259QM. im going to game with it abit more and see but i don't see much of a difference in motion clarity and ghosting.

If you have a few minutes, could you run the testufo ghosting test with dyac+ on at 240hz, and compare with the results in the videos from the original post of this thread? Here is a direct link to the test: https://www.testufo.com/ghosting. Here is a link to the video I'm talking about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UptZUPD ... =emb_title. Maybe this is caused by youtube video compression, but on my XL2546S I see a bit more crosstalk than what is shown in the videos.

Hmm, I think I know what happened. Turns out I still had blur busters strobe utility installed, I had opened it by mistake when I first plugged in my monitor. I reopened it again but this time I unchecked the box that activates "apply strobe enhancements" or whatever it's called. It got rid of the bad crosstalk I'd see in the UFO yellow part. Also, the XL2546S is simply detected as a Zowie LCD and the utility has very weird behavior with it, I can't get it to work properly. Does it work fine with the XL2746S?

Yah the utility works fine with the xl2746S. The xl2546S uses a different panel and scalar so that might be why the utility isn’t working properly. Maybe Chief BB can update it since he created it.
