That makes no sense. I bet movement is more clear, but 1080p just can't be more crisp then 1440p.

Ordered mine, waiting for it to review
Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S/XL2546S Owners Thread
it makes perfect sense because better motion clarity and faster response translate to better defined countours even for static content.
I see less of this IPS pixel fuzzyness and the PG279Q was for year the king of IPS.. sure for viewing angle TN is still meh but i game right in front of it not from a couch or anything, I have an Oled for that..
by the end of the year or early 2021, i will swap my PG279Q to this or similar : https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/61dd1fa5 (first 1440p 240hz IPS panel? )
and try to get either the alienware or asus 360hz panel depending on reviews ( and 3080ti real world perf)

I just pre-ordered the XL2546S on B&H, any idea when I can expect to get it? Also, how does the XL2546S compare to the Aorus KD25F for FPS gaming?
Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S/XL2546S Owners Thread
Also, is it worth waiting for the XL2546S instead of getting the XL2546 right away? Thanks!

I would say yes because the S model has a newer faster panel with improved dyac. As for the kd25f, I used to own that and returned it -- it's junk. It had major text ghosting when scrolling webpages and the input lag was atrocious. The colors were noticeably worse than the 27" xl2746S though I can't speak for how the XL2546S colors look. The kd25f isn't worth buying, if you're in a rush and can't find the xl2546S, I'd opt for the viewsonic xg270, msi mag 251rx or asus vg279qm. If you want the absolute best in gaming, then that's benQ.

more general question for people who have experienced DYAC....
Would the upcoming XL2546S be worth it if i am NOT going to use DYAC? DYAC gives some people head aches and nausea. if for some reason it bothers me, do you think its still worth getting if im not gonna use DYAC?

Yes if you want the absolute best g2g and input lag but otherwise I'd say no. You could get cheaper IPS panels that do well (see above reply). I will say that I use dyac everyday and have yet to get any side effects from it -- in fact it's been amazing to see in motion in Apex Legends.kofman13 wrote: ↑26 May 2020, 14:58more general question for people who have experienced DYAC....

I dont think most people that are shopping for 240hz monitors are interested in IPS as they are looking for the fastest monitors for FPS games.
