I finally got the display in today! I haven't gamed with it yet so my initial impressions are simply based on what I'm seeing on a 2D desktop and using UFO motion tests.

Brightness: Seems decent, not a whole lot brighter than my Asus PG278Q which is from 2014. It's definitely not as bright as the Gigabyte Aorus KD25F I had previously which was 400 nits+. EDIT:After messing with the profiles, brightness and other settings, the monitor is considerably brighter now. I don't have a colorimeter but other websites have measured around 370 nits and that looks about right.

2D Picture Quality at 27": So a lot of people think they'll see pixelation at 1080p/27" and in my case I don't really notice it since I sit about 2 feet away from the monitor and i have it mounted on my wall. I previously had the 25" KD25F and found it too small for my liking so right now, this 27" hits the sweet spot.

3D Gaming at 27": I got an FPS jump of >30% going from 1440p back to 1080p with this display which was nice. As soon as I started playing CoD: Warzone I noticed the input lag and motion was far better than my old Asus PG278Q which is a 1 ms TN panel but from 2014. I have a pretty big headache today so I wasn't really in the zone while playing but even so, I think I did alright for the first game of the day w/this new monitor:

S Switch Man what a handy little tool! I setup 2 profiles so far, one for desktop with the black equalizer set to 5 and vibrance set to 12 and DyAC turned off. When I want to game, I choose the other profile which turns DyAC to Premium while boosting vibrance and black equalizer. Very handy little tool that a lot of other manufacturers should think about copying.

Colors/Sharpness: Out of the box they're a bit dull so I just set it to user define + standard and gamma at 3 and now it looks pretty good. I also had to increase the Sharpness to 8/10.

DyAc: So this is the entire reason I bought this display, to have BFI that doesn't lose brightness when turned on. I can confirm that this monitor does not lose any brightness with DyAC enabled and infact gets MUCH BRIGHTER (up to ~480 nits) unlike every other competing display which tend to cut their brightness in half with BFI enabled. I briefly read about changing the vertical totals on these forums and since I likely won't hit 240 FPS even with a 9900k@5 Ghz and 2080 Ti in the games I play (Warzone/Apex Legends), I settled on 182 Hz with VT of 1350. I tested many different vertical total values out and 1350 just seemed to work best as the top/bottom of the screen had minimal blurring and the middle was great. I'm not sure if I captured this correctly using my iPhone X but this is the best I could do:

Perfectly captured, thanks, very useful ! Not bad for 182Hz, very focused ufo, the problem is crosstalk. There are a light overshot, but not excesive, slight blue trace at left. Maybe a bit less overdrive can remove it.

I wonder if at 100Hz XL2746S can remove completely crosstalk in all screen, and show perfect motion smoothness like 100Hz CRT monitor. Would be awesome !

We have captures of XG270 27" IPS 240Hz BlurBusters Approved at 100 and 120Hz in official XG270 support thread, center screen almost crosstalk free and 100% overshot free (amazing), upper and bottom is more noticeable. Realy very good results for IPS tech.

Much people consider XG270 the best 27" IPS 240Hz, and XL2746S the best 27" TN 240Hz, 100Hz strobing comparison would be very useful to help people decide what monitor buy, if the preference is get CRT like motion at "moderate frequency".

Obvious eSport allways Off strobing, in order to improve input lag, but maybe not all XL2746S buyers are Professional Gamers, or not all the time is used for this purpose, and want a versatile monitor, capable of both worlds, competitive online, and eye candy CRT motion smooth in non competitive games like single player or emulators.

The another problem is like you say, maintain rock solid the minimun framerate in modern games, 100 FPS/Hz is much more easy for people that can't buy the fastest CPU and GPU. Even with last hardware, recent games with all settings at maximun, current high end PC can't maintain minimum FullHD FPS upper 100 all the time.

Yeah so the middle part has very little crosstalk (can't notice it at all). The top and bottom had some until I used VT to minimize it. It looks exaggerated w/the video I took since the camera was right on the monitor. I'll try to create an optimal DyAC profile at 100 Hz when I have some time later and record it and see how it turns out. So far the behavior I've observed w/this display is DyAC actually looks more clear at higher refresh rate than it does lower.

I just started playing with the Blurbusters strobe utility and it actually helps w/this monitor. At 240 Hz it practically got rid of all the crosstalk I had. One thing I did notice is at 100 Hz/120 Hz I get lots of crosstalk no matter what AMA/Dyac setting I use. I don't know if this is intentional or a firmware bug. Since I use 182 Hz, it's a non-issue for me and the BB utility helped quite a bit.

This is the setting I found worked best: https://gyazo.com/40ba7ab2a216815fb8746c7aa9b6316a

Hi
can you please check 60hz refresh rate and see if it can do blur reduction single strobing mode on testUFO?
You will know 100% if it's working because there will be extreme backlight flicker and the ufo's will be 'glass smooth' without any hint of a double image (there may be an inverse corona behind them, that's not a double image, just AMA artifacts).

This is extremely important.
Note: you can also turn down the "Intensity" (Strobe Phase) in the service menu.
On the older Benq monitors, the service menu can be entered by holding down button #4 when powering on (which should skip the Zowie logo) and then releasing button #4, and then pressing button 4 to enter the service menu to change the Intensity and Area (duty and phase) settings.

Holding down button #3 AND #4 unlocks the "Factory menu" where you can see the "Overdrive Gain" and some other weird settings.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for but it's pretty terrible at 60 Hz: https://youtu.be/kQjSRBsyZb0

Oh Yuck.
That's double strobing. 100% double strobing.

Is there an option in either the "Service Menu" or the "Factory menu" to enable single strobe?

Service menu:
Power off, hold button #4 while powering on, release button 4 after screen appears, press button to enter service menu.
Factory menu:
Power off, hold button 3+4 while powering on, release button 3+4 after screen appears, press button (usually 4, unless it's different) to enter factory menu.

I'll be skipping this monitor, then otherwise.
