I've had BenQ XL2746S for a week sitting next to my BenQ XL2456. 27" was much better for me personally. I'm using fancy monitor arm and I could move BenQ XL2746S further away without sacrificing the amount of details I can see, which resulted in me having more desk space and better ergonomics.
If I didn't have a $150 monitor arm, in order to see as much details on 24" monitor I'd have to overextend my neck or move monitor so close that I'd have no desk space. Look at this semi pro player who is forced to turn his monitor stand and move away keyboard in order to see the sufficient amount of details:

He can't move the monitor further because he wouldn't be able to see enemies.

Jesus Christ how does he play w/the keyboard turned 90 degrees like that?? Desk space is very vital to having a comfortable gaming space and a lot of people underestimate how important it is. That's why I mounted my 27" on the wall in front of me and can comfortably use the entire desk space for my keyboard and mouse while retaining enough depth to allow the 27" display to be in full view and look very crisp in games while being comfortable.

So you'll be keeping the 27? Can I ask which arm you're using?

He does that so he can get his BenQ XL2456 closer to his face. Notice unusual position of the monitor stand. If he doesn't rotate it wouldn't allow him to place keyboard and mouse pad normally (he would had to move them back). I actually had done the same thing when I didn't have my monitor arm. The only way to get monitor closer to your face (with standard monitor stand) is to rotate the stand this way. When I did it, I kept my keyboard in default position (I have a very small keyboard), but had to tuck mouse pad under monitor stand, sacrificing ability to flickshoot to the left
Here is another professional player using BenQ XL2456, but he can't get it close to his face, because he streams, so he has to overextend his neck.

That's why I think that 27" 1080p is better than 24" 1080p - you could literally set it back further and see the same amount of detail. I never understood that lower DPI argument.

LOL with how close these guys put their faces to their monitors they might as well be wearing VR glasses--absolutely ridiculous. This is definitely why 27" 1080p is superior to 24.5".

I’ve both XL2546S and XL2746S. 25” vs 27” has no winner; because it’s up to you. Let me explain:

XL2546S Pros(89 PPI, little better response time Because it’s 6bit+FRC) Cons( In Home usage i agree with previous answers you need to have a Monitor Arm, little worse colors bcz of 6bit+FRC)

XL2746S Pros( True 8bit better colors, no need monitor arm just place it further away) Cons (82 PPI)

Did you had the xl2546 before? Notice any difference?
You're the first on this thread to say you have the xl2546s I think. Any early impressions ? :D

So he claims he'll set it up tomorrow. I plan to drop by his stream to ask if he's actually using it because it looks like a major downgrade from his Zowie, look at that input lag....yikes! For a pro player like Aceu he's definitely going to notice that: https://i.imgur.com/9Lys6B8.png
Did you end up confirming this? Did he switch to the LG or nah?

Haven't had a chance to watch his stream, been very busy.
