Those stripes on the XL2546S picture above looks really bad. The XL2746S is nothing like that although it too suffers from the typical TN angles, it's just a limitation of the technology. You either want all the speed + dyac or you go for a compromise and get a fast enough IPS with no dyac but much better angles. I have two displays, the XL2746S for gaming and general use and my 32" 1440p LG VA for production when I need it.

For those of you with the XL2546S, is it detected as a 6 bit or 8 bit display? I guess if it has 6 bit + FRC it'll probably still say 8 bit in Windows so we'll need a more professional review to know.

blue stripes on the sides
More people with this issue ? seems a excesive pressure of bezel, like when touch the screen with finger. Or backlight bleeding ? in dark room with fullscreen black there are light fugues ?

Seeing this, and scratch, seems like BenQ not do after-manufacturing quality test. woodyfly, your box is in perfect condition ? to discart damage during transport.

Unlimited in VALORANT capping add more input lag

Also if you guys are wondering about firmware upgrades, BenQ responded to me with the following:
Hello,

Sadly firmware in non user serviceable, please fill out this RMA form so that we can get your monitor in for a diagnostic.
Obviously my monitor works fine so I'm not going to send it in but it would have been nice to be able to upgrade the firmware.

Website should show a list with the available firmware versions and changelog for each model. Currently only there are Driver and User Manual, but User Manual section also host others documents https://zowie.benq.com/en/support.html

XL2746S User Manual
XL2746S FCC SDoC (Supplier's Declaration of Conformity)
XL2746S Resolution file
XL2746S Safety Warning and Notice

They should add here firmware information.

I got the monitor, spent about 6 hours on it. Here's my mini review.
Backgroun 10k+ hours in cs 1.6, now in apex predator 2XX, my usual monitor is a xl2411z, 3600x cpu, 1080 gtx (main bottleneck).

Gsync is off, picture mode fps 1, brightness 40, sharpness 5, black equalizer 7, low blue light 2.

Dyac+ makes things "vibrate" when moving the mouse, its much harder for me to see the motion, objects, target when flicking/ aiming fast, blur is very low as intended, i get eye strain after ~30 minutes on it, i think due trying to see on the vertices of walls, moving targets, its just not comfortable.
Colors on this screen, with very lil tweaking are much better than the xl2411z.

Due apex game engine being "special" the best frame cap is 190,
At 190, capped in game using fps_max 190, the mouse is more "light" doesn't drag as much as the xl2411z overclocked at 190hz, it may be the additional input lag, may be placebo.
Frame cap ingame as 0/unlimited and framerate limit at 190 with rtss feels like a "heavy mouse", using scanline sync feels much better, but due my gfx card it can't hold constant 190 fps in ranked matches besides the firing range.

I love the stand, the monitor goes lower in height than the xl2411z

There's also something weird about the viewing angle for sure, its very sensitive, if move my head down even 2-3cm it gets noticeably darker

Overall, i am not sure if it's worth the 420€ i payed for it.
100% sure I play better on it, no doubt, almost have the need to lower the sensivity vs the xl2411z.
I will play more hours on it, adapt more
