Does 1440p look better on 27 inch or ultrawide like 32 or 34 inch?

Does 1440p look better on 27 inch or ultrawide like 32 or 34 inch?

I have a pretty big desk so I can definitely sit away for the ultra wide or 27 inch but at 1440p wouldn't I see more pixels at 27 inch compared to ultrawide? Or would the pixel density not be as a big difference as actually going up from 27 inch to 32/34 inch?

What are your thoughts?

I have a 240 hz monitor for competitive games but would not mind ultra wide for graphics games, let me know!

I think you create too many topics.
I often do not clearly state my thoughts. google translate is far from perfect. And in addition to the translator, I myself am mistaken. Do not take me seriously.

It depends on the height of the monitor. With 1440p UW, it's still 1440 pixels high. So the monitor with the smaller physical height has the higher pixel density.

Height and PPI:

16:9 27" 2560x1440: 13.2" high, 109 PPI.
21:9 32" 3440x1440: 12.4" high, 117 PPI.
21:9 34" 3440x1440: 13.1" high, 110 PPI.

So 16:9 27" has pretty much the same pixel density and the same height as a 34" ultrawide (the difference is negligible.) The 32" ultrawide is smaller and thus has higher pixel density.
