1440p 240hz
1440p 240hz
Are there any 1440p 240hz Monitors in sight this year? At the moment there are just two monitors available. HP Omen X27 and the Lenovo with g-sync.
Re: 1440p 240hz
I'm stoked for 1440p 240Hz at 120Hz and strobed. Seeing how the XG270 is being praised by the Chief, I'm hoping for the 1440p 120Hz Monitors to have good MBR and LowLag.
1440p 120 is easily achievable with 400€ GPUs of this Gen so next Gen RDNA2 or Ampere should do so at even cheaper prices, unless they pull Turing / 5500XT again. Seeing how badly Turing and the 5500XT are doing however, I don't think thats likely.
I went off-topic, but that's just because of my excitement.
For info on new releases I use https://www.displayninja.com/new-monitors/ .
IPS Panel Release by AUO
" 27inch 1440p 240Hz, 99% Adobe RGB 400nit January 2020 Price/Model : N/A "
LG NANO IPS
"27inch 1440p 240Hz 1ms, 98% DCI-P3, HDR600, ‘real borderless’ Q4 2020"
LG Normal IPS
"24.5inch 1080p 240Hz 1ms Q3 2020"
Considering these dates are from display manufacterers and alike these aren't the least accurate. Really excited still.

Re: 1440p 240hz
Lenovo Y27gq-25
GSync v2 module, with a shit fan, very noisy
Unfortunately ULMB is not enabled on this monitor
Bad news, because 240Hz can strobe 100Hz signals with low crosstalk if is good tweaked, much less than 1440p165Hz, this is the reason i not buy this monitor.
HP OMEN X27
Adaptive Sync, no Motion blur reduction, no FlickerFree, PWM backlight here
https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/hp/omen-x-27
AOC AG273QZ
Another AUO panel 27" TN QHD 240Hz 0.5ms, i can't find reviews of this monitor. I don't know if it has Motion Blur Reduction feature. So, until i know, no bucks.

Surely this year more brands release its 1440p240Hz models, hope at least one can have a fast IPS with BlurBusters Approved sticker in the bezel, Oh YEAH !

That website is a referral/ad revenue scam. They're lifting their content from TFTCentral's roadmaps:Stitch7 wrote: ↑22 Jan 2020, 15:09For info on new releases I use https://www.displayninja.com/new-monitors/ .

Away from that, looking forward to hearing about upcoming options also! With the HP Omen offering being regularly on sale for USD $550, and Monoprice soon offering a 4k 144Hz IPS monitor at that price, I feel like we're going to see such TN panels quickly coming into old 240Hz price points.
Will be interesting to see how much pressure this puts on high-end 1440p 144Hz panels, as well as new 240Hz IPS panels.
Re: 1440p 240hz
I don't know about that sorry.
I just thought it was so neatly arranged.

what?
I red that Y27gq-25 is the best (at today) 27" 1440p @240hz
Then fan is noisy, but not more the pc...and after the use it switches off (time 5-15 minutes)
Re: 1440p 240hz
It's a shame no more monitors matching this has been announced. I gave up and decided to try a 1080p monitor but I'd prefer a 1440p 240 Hz one
Re: 1440p 240hz
i' testing Y27gq-25 and LG 34GK950F...i prefer the Lenovo, expecilay HDR...
But after use a 21:9 it's hard return to 16:9

Another option about to come straight onto the market:
https://www.tftcentral.co.uk/blog/aoc-a ... resh-rate/
Claiming 0.5ms peak response time and BFI/strobing features alongside 125% sRGB. AOC generally work hard to tune their panels, so I'd assume this is going to be a step up from the Omen X 27's results.
