Motion blur reduction with Optoma DLP and 3D mode for 2D

Hello,

I'm trying to reduce motion blur without FI for my DLP-projector (Optoma) on 24 fps-content.
I want to use BFI for that and read here that it can be activated with 3D-mode.

From the manual: "1080p@24Hz will run in 144Hz"
So: 144 / 2 / 24 = 3 --> synchronous pulldown and BFI?
